Our transfer credit program is through an agreement with Toppenish School District in Washington State. Toppenish is a member of the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools. These courses are great for T.A.A.S., W.A.S.L. as well as all the state benchmark tests! The courses are divided into 5 separate Sections with a test at the end of each section. All section tests consist of a combination of true/false, multiple choice, fill-in questions, an essay question - all totaling the equivalent of 100 points. Tests will be graded and results will be available within 24 hours in most cases. Special Notice to School Districts It has come to our attention that various districts in some states use a full year to cover the materials found in some of our one-semester courses. To accommodate the various needs of our districts and still comply with our transfer credit arrangements, we can grant one year credit for our one-semester course on a case by case basis. This special arrangement must be made IN ADVANCE OF ANY ENROLLMENTS and arranged with officials from a school district authorized to approve this arrangement. This arrangment will NOT be made with parents or students. NO retroactive granting of additional credit will be allowed. We will charge the same fee for schools that are granted this special arrangement. Requests will be authorized ONLY after the district provides syllabus and other proof that the redcomet.org one-semester course contains a full year's worth of materials authorized for granting by your district. Washington State History - 2005 Revision Recently updated, this course covers the early history of the state through its development to the present day and tracks the history of the state by featuring the interplay of People, Environment, Geography, Economics, and Government throughout the years. Specifically designed to meet the new Washington State Essential Learnings and prepare for the Washington State Assessment of Student Learning (WASL). This course gives an overall understanding of the history of our world. The course covers the evolutions of the great western civilizations of the Chinese, Japanese, African, Indian and Ottoman, and eastern civilizations of the Andean, Meso American, Aztec, and Roman. It explains the causes and effects of the five great revolutions that occurred during the 17th and 18th centuries as well as the ideals of these revolutions (i.e. Separation of Power, Popular Sovereignty, Human Rights, Liberty, Democracy, and Equality).
