Red Comet knows that every student is different and that students in need of transfer credits often have specific subject requirements. Red Comet online learning has designed a catalog that properly reflects this. Red Comet offers a variety of courses in each of the four main disciplines – English, Social Studies, Science & Math, including courses for AP and gifted students. We also offer several Elective courses that a student may not find in their own traditional high school.

Digital Learning Options
Red Comet offers several digital learning options to students.
Red Comet mathematics courses are designed to meet a variety of needs. The catalog includes two semesters each of Algebra I & II and Geometry.
Red Comet science courses include one semester each of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Earth Science & Space Science.
Red Comet English courses cover both Language Arts and Reading Comprehension. These courses are designed to effectively teach reading, writing and communication skills. Courses include one semester each of ninth through twelfth grade English. In addition, a one-semester English Elective course is offered for reading appreciation, and this includes extensive comprehension of a novel. Students are provided a choice of approved novels, and can choose which novel they would prefer to study.
Red Comet social studies courses are equally diverse and designed to provide an optimal high school education online. Courses offered include a semester of Washington State History, a semester of World History, a semester of Economics, a semester of American Government, and two semesters of US History. In addition, one-semester elective courses are offered for Contemporary World Problems and US History.
Red Comet also offers one-semester elective courses. These include School to Work, Research, Health, Physical Education, Music and Art. Each of these courses teaches real world, practical knowledge and are designed so that students benefit well beyond high school. These courses meet electives requirements for getting a high school education online.
