Most public high schools offer the state-mandated curriculum and often have dedicated teachers who do their best to teach a wide variety of subjects. However, many schools find that they may want to offer a wider selection of electives to their students. Some students who attend public schools may wish to take advanced placement courses; these, however may not be offered at their public school.

Red Comet offers an individualized high school experience in an online environment. Courses are taught using cutting edge technology in an interactive environment.
Since there is no set class schedule, students study when and where it's convenient for them. They work at their own pace. They may choose to do all their work at home or they may avail themselves of the school’s computer lab or computer facilities available at other public / community places. Although the students may work independently and without any support from the teachers at their school, they are never alone. Red Comet’s expert teachers and support staff who are dedicated to helping students complete their coursework are just a phone call or an email away.
Students from public high schools take Red Comet courses for a variety of reasons:
