ABOUT Redcomet.org
- Kevin Jackson, President
In 1999 Kevin Jackson founded Redcomet.org, a company that helps high school students graduate from their own high school by providing online courses to students across America. Serving as President, Jackson along with his team has worked to create opportunities for students in danger of not graduating on time. Redcomet.org is the leader in virtual credit accrual for high school education and continues to find innovative methods to increase student success rates.
Kevin Jackson has held a series of independent business roles including realtor, bankruptcy reorganization specialist, non-profit executive director, and state educational program supervisor. Born in poverty on the Yakama Indian Reservation in Eastern Washington State, his parents were uneducated but filled with a love for their children's future. Graduating with honors from high school, Kevin was the first generation of his family to receive a college degree when he graduated with distinction from the University of Washington in Seattle.
Jackson is married to Cherie Wallis-Jackson, executive director of Grayson County CASA, an agency that advocates for abused children. He has one grown daughter and 2 grown step-children. He and his wife live in Sherman, Texas.
