Course Overview:

In order to be successful in your career, several factors must be taken into account. First of all, you must have an aptitude for the industry sector path. You must be interested in the pathway. Finally, you must tailor your academic studies to prepare you for that path after graduating from high school. This course dwells into all the key ingredients for succeeding at work: developing excellent communication skills, planning & managing your career path, utilizing technology to help you, developing strong problem-solving & critical thinking skills, understanding health & safety requirements at work, and knowing your legal & ethical responsibilities. In order to be successful, you must demonstrate that you are responsible, flexible and a team player. This course will help you understand the key criteria for becoming a leader at your workplace.

Note: This course is not designed for ELL (English Language Learners) students. ELL students may enroll in this course ONLY if they have adequate mentor support at their home school and are able to fulfill all course requirements.
